BBCCC Ice Cream

For a 2-quart ice cream maker.

  • 1 cup sugar (short it a bit)
  • 1½ cup whole milk
  • 3 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1½ tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup salted cashews
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips (or chunks)

Start with the standard vanilla recipe: stir the sugar into the milk until it’s dissolved, then stir in the cream and vanilla.

Add the mixture to the ice cream maker, and wait about 25 minutes. Mash and slowly add the bananas so they get mixed in well, then wait about 5 more minutes.

Move the ice cream to a freezer container. Fold in the blueberries, cashews, and chocolate chips. Freeze and serve!
